Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Plan, budget, monitor and manage the project process:
  • Track against milestones, deadlines and budget any opportunities identified by management and business development from conception to completion in a fast-paced acquisition environment;
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives;
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budgeted invoice. This would include the production of project documentation, e.g. project plans; report on these items to key stakeholders; anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project including taking all measures necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time—if timelines are at risk, escalate issues to management in a timely fashion;
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements;
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget;
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan;
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress;
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables;
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution;
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed;
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement;
  • Coordinate between the Business Development team and the Engineering team to facilitate delivery of bids, RFPS, quotes and scope of work;
  • Prepare and communicate onsite team assignments;
  • Support teams during travel to and while onsite;
  • Communicate with Company’s management team in a professional manner;
  • Analyze data from the Onsite Project Management reports and then make process improvements;
  • Participate in project meetings with clients, as required;
  • Work with TechR2 Team to identify new prospects, build relationships and develop networks, with the explicit goal of establishing new accounts as well as maintaining current accounts;
  • Adhere to firm compliance with our ISO Standard Certification requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality of TechR2 and TechR2 client information—this includes training as well as in practice.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience with certifications in computer science, business or related field
  • 5 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Shown ability to solve problems creatively
  • Shown proficiency with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices as well as Excel, Gantt charts, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams
  • High level of motivation, initiative, energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the desire and willingness to take on a range of tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources, and work with a diverse cross-functional team
