Tear-A-Byte offers Best Practices for Containment, Sanitization and Recycling
The Tear-A-Byte Solution offers physical containment in the TB200 Secure Media Container. This locked unit secures data devices including: hard disks, floppy disks, magnetic tapes, USB drives and CD/DVD media.
The Tear-A-Byte captures identifying information about the data device and offers a secure, onsite container for e-waste. Certified technicians then transport the container to our facility for recycling.
You can be sure that our data security procedures are compliant with EPA R2 guidelines for responsible recycling. All of our clients receive a Green Report which details the assets that were recycled and the positive impact that recycling makes on our environment. Clients share this information as part of their corporate communications to inform shareholders and other constituents about their recycling efforts.
